Unlocking every Social Link in Persona 3 Reload requires careful planning, as several characters have specific unlocking prerequisites and strict schedules. Among the most unique night-time bonds is the Tower Social Link, represented by Mutatsu, an unconventional monk who spends his evenings at Club Escapade. Understanding how to meet his prerequisites ensures you can consistently raise his rank without missing precious evening time slots.
Prerequisites for Unlocking Mutatsu
Before you can meet Mutatsu, you must first progress the Strength Social Link with Yuko Nishiwaki to Rank 4. During a conversation after reaching this rank, Yuko will mention an unusual monk who frequents the nightclub in Paulownia Mall. Additionally, players must reach Courage Rank 2 to gain entry into Club Escapade.
Starting the Tower Social Link at Club Escapade
Once inside Club Escapade, head to the upper floor and speak directly with Mutatsu. He will initially refuse to talk to you until you bring him a drink. To fulfill his request, talk to the bartender on the lower level and correctly deliver the orders for four patrons: a Bloody Mary, a Margarita, a Screwdriver, and an Oolong Tea. Delivering these drinks allows you to initiate the Tower Social Link officially.
Mutatsu Availability and Schedule Details
Mutatsu offers one of the most flexible schedules among night Social Links in Persona 3 Reload. He is available four nights a week on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday evenings. Unlike school-based confidants, Mutatsu remains available even during holidays and exam weeks, making his link ideal for filling free evening slots.
Maximizing Rank Progression and Rewards
To rank up efficiently with Mutatsu, always carry a Persona of the Tower Arcana to boost Social Link points earned during conversations. Reaching Rank 10 unlocks the Reserve Tag key item. This special item grants players the ability to fuse Chi You, the ultimate Persona of the Tower Arcana.
